PRICING GUIDE

How much does towing software cost?

What you pay for towing software depends less on the headline price than on how it's charged: per user, per truck or per feature, plus setup, contracts and moving your data. Here is what drives the cost, what to ask any vendor, and exactly what opscenter costs.

What drives the price

Users, drivers and trucks

If a plan is priced per user, per driver or per truck, the bill grows every time you hire someone or add a truck.

IN OPSCENTER

Unlimited users, trucks, locations and calls on every plan, including Free.

Which features you pay for

If features come in fixed tiers, you can end up paying for a bigger tier to get the one feature you need.

IN OPSCENTER

Core is $75 a month. On top of it you turn on any of six standard bundles; the price depends on how many are on, not which ones, and never goes above $300 a month. You turn bundles on and off yourself.

Add-ons

Ask which features cost extra, so the price you compare is the price you would actually pay.

IN OPSCENTER

Premium bundles are priced on their own and don't count toward the standard bundle price: Payroll $100, Garage $75, Fuel $50, Dolooma Intelligence $150, Dispatch Intelligence $75, Academy $50 a month.

Setup and moving your data

Setup fees and the work of moving jobs, trucks, employees and contracts over are part of the real cost, and easy to miss next to a monthly price.

IN OPSCENTER

No setup fees, and free migration from your current software.

Contract length

A long contract makes a wrong choice expensive to undo.

IN OPSCENTER

Billed monthly, cancel any time, no contract. Pay annually and get 2 months free.

Trying it first

The real test is running your own calls through it before you pay.

IN OPSCENTER

Every Core configuration starts with a 30-day free trial. Free needs no credit card.

Larger operations

Multi-yard companies usually need consolidation, custom integrations and support terms on top of the software.

IN OPSCENTER

Enterprise includes every bundle, multi-entity and multi-yard consolidation, custom integrations, onboarding, migration, dedicated support and an SLA. It is quoted and invoiced.

What opscenter costs

Monthly prices in USD, before applicable taxes. Users, trucks, locations and calls are unlimited on every plan.

Questions to ask about price

  1. Is it priced per user, per driver or per truck?
  2. Which features are in the base price, and which cost extra?
  3. Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
  4. Who moves your current jobs, trucks, employees and contracts over, and what does that cost?
  5. How long is the contract, and what does it cost to leave?
  6. Can you turn features off again and pay less?
  7. Can you try it free on your own calls first?
  8. Are payment processing fees separate from the software price?

Price is half the decision. How to choose the best towing software covers what to look for in dispatch, billing, payroll, fleet and the driver app.
